NCP Statement: 21-07-2016

The Moroccan NCP was notified on march 18, 2016 by a Complainant (a moroccan-french person). The allegations concerns a multinational company (Swiss origin), operating in the insurance sector.

The specific instance involves the following chapters of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, "Disclosure", "Human Rights" and "Consumer Interest".

As part of its initial assessment, the Moroccan NCP studies the case to decide of whether the issue merits further examination or not.

After the study of the documents provided by the partie concerned, the NCP closed the initial assessment and decide that issues does not merit further examination for the following reasons:

  • lack of links between elements raised by the complainant and the OECD guidelines.
  • lack of elements, documentations and evidence that can prove the adverse impacts caused by the entreprise.

The Moroccan NCP was notified on 2nd June, 2016 by a Complainant (a moroccan-french person). The allegations concerns his former employer, an international audit firm.

The specific instance against the former employer involoves the following Chapters: III, IV, and V of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, it's related to "Disclosure", "Employment and Industrial Relations", and "Human Rights".

As part of its initial assessment, the Moroccan NCP studies the case to decide of whether the issue merits further examination or not.

After the study of the documents provided by the partie concerned, the NCP closed the initial assessment and decide that issues does not merit further examination for the following reasons:

  • lack of elements, documentations and evidence that can prove the adverse impacts caused by the entreprise.
